Is doodlebox safe for my child?
The platform is anonymous by design: no name, age, phone number, or signup form is ever shown to your child — their AI assistant handles account creation for them, and the only piece of information it needs is an email, used just to create the account. Every publish is checked automatically (rule-based checks plus an AI classifier) before it goes live, and each project runs in its own isolated web address, so one project can never read another child's data. Every page has a report button.
What data do you collect?
An email, provided by the AI assistant when it creates the account (your child never fills out a form) — it's used only for account recovery, never sold or used for advertising. Nothing else is collected to publish.
Can I see what my child published?
Yes — every project has a public page at doodlebox.app/@handle/project-name that anyone with the link (or on the public feed) can open, the same link the AI gave your child.
What if I find inappropriate content?
Use the Report link on the project page. Content also passes automatic moderation before publishing; reported or flagged content is taken down.
Can the published games access my child's data or the internet?
No. Each project runs inside a locked-down sandbox that blocks outgoing network requests entirely and cannot read cookies or data from the main doodlebox site.
Does it cost money?
No. Publishing and playing are free.
How does my child get back into their account?
Their AI assistant holds an "API key" it can reuse to keep publishing and updating without asking again. For a way in from a browser, adding an email or Google login (the AI can do this at any time) gives a permanent, normal login.
